The Institute is situated in the city of Nanjangud under Mysore District of the state of Karnataka in India. Nanjangud, also known as 'Dakshina Kashi" lies on the banks of the river Kapila, at a distance of about 23 Km from Mysore. The Institute is located on the Mysore – Ooty Highway and is at a distance of about 5 Km from the city and the Nanjangud Town railway station. The airport is just about 18 Km away.
The Institute has excellent infrastructure and well equipped laboratory facilities meeting International Standards. All class rooms are well furnished, ventilated and illuminated. No effort has been spared in ensuring the overall education as well as development of the students.
The facilities provided include - Audio Visual Rooms with all teaching aids, Over Head Projector, Slide Projector, Television, Video Player, LCD Projector, Video Camera, Still Camera, DVD, Multimedia Computer, Audio Systems, Microscopic Projector, and the like. The experienced staff and personnel of the Institute has excellent and qualified faculty members handling academics for imparting quality professional knowledge, a well-trained technical team to handle laboratories providing hands-on experience to the students and competent general staff playing supportive roles.
The Institute is recognised by the University of Mysore( UOM) and offers a B.Sc. (Hons.) four years course in Advance Agriculture and two B.Sc. courses, one in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics and the other in Biomedical Science, over a duration of three years each. Over time, the management does have the intention of establishing a good research facility also.
