SCOPE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & DATA ANALYTICS

Artificial Intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform humanlike tasks. AI is an area of Computer Science that emphasizes the creation of intelligent machines that work & react like humans. Today, the amount of data that is generated, both by humans and machines, far outpaces humans’ ability to absorb, interpret and make complex decisions based on that data. AI forms the basis for all computer learning and is the future of all complex decision making. Data analytics is the science of analyzing raw data in order to make conclusions about that information with regard to its utility and applicability. Many of the techniques and processes of data analytics have been automated into mechanical processes and algorithms that work over raw data for human consumption.

• The B.Sc. program aims to train the students in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics disciplines through a well-designed combination of course-ware and its application on real-world scenarios. The Programme has a strong emphasis on creating new frontiers in computing education with industry ready trans-disciplinary curricula. This is an undergraduate course that can be completed in 3 years.
